Catizen, a sensational cat cafe-themed Telegram adventure mini-game, has unveiled plans to launch its own gaming platform. This announcement was made at an Asia Blockchain Summit (ABS), attended by David Mak, Catizen’s CEO, Steve Yun, TON Foundation’s Chairman, and Wego, TONX co-founder stating: “Catizen will usher in a qualitative change. Transformation, the mini-game center will be launched soon!” Meanwhile, Telegram announced the potential of mini-app games on its platform after recording a massive upturn in users in 2023.
The Telegram mini-game has designed its Mini Game Center to accommodate over 200 top-tier mini-games. These games will bring a blend of engaging gameplay and powerful monetization strategies. The Game Center is an upgrade to the current gaming bot, improving the games’ playability, and expanding the game ecosystem and its commercial territory.
Star Wing: Space Battle Game in Mini Game Center
Speaking further on the launch of the Catizen Game Center, David Mak noted that about 18 popular games listed on the Catizen Roadmap would be launched gradually on the new platform.
According to Pluto Studio, Catizen’s developer, the gradual launch will begin with Star Wing, a top-tier aerial combat game. Star Wing allows players to customize aircraft and enjoy intense space battles in an adrenaline-filled arena.
As the first-ever game on Catizen Game Center, Star Wing is focused on bringing top-notch quality and innovation. Currently, the battle game boasts over 3 million daily users worldwide.
Catizen Claims Top Spot in Telegram Open League Again
Catizen has secured the top spot in the Telegram Open League for the past 4 consecutive seasons, after campaigning with a Play to Airdrop. Since its launch, Catizen has exceeded 24,000,000 (24 million) on-chain transactions. Players are encouraged to interact more and become “Satoshi NakaMeowto”.
The launch of the mini-game center signifies the third phase of Catizen development. This phase also features a token airdrop and a transition to a decentralized ecosystem. Likewise, benefits within the Catizen community would initiate new incentives for CATI holders. Interestingly, holders can secure tokens from other projects by completing a special set of tasks.
