Riot Games unveils custom League of Legends pro team in-game emotes
Riot Games is introducing custom in-game emotes for League of Legends, co-designed by esports teams from the pro leagues. An impressive 75 emotes will be available for purchase starting August 27th, with 30% of the revenue from sales going directly to the teams involved.
This initiative is part of Riot’s broader strategy to provide additional revenue streams for esports organizations, reducing their reliance on sponsorships. The emotes, which range from team logos to game characters, will be priced at 350 RP, with the cost of RP varying by region. The participating leagues include the LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS, and others.

Overwatch 2 mid-year competitive update brings rank reset, avoid teammate features
Blizzard has announced a mid-year competitive update for Overwatch 2, set to coincide with Season 12. One of the major changes will be a rank reset, giving players a fresh start to climb the competitive ladder once again. Additionally, the new hero, Juno, will be introduced to competitive mode, with more details to be revealed soon.
Alongside these updates, improvements to the “Avoid as Teammate” feature will be implemented, allowing players more control over their matchups.
